About Us

Edward Payne
Principal
I have over twenty years of experience in senior roles with a range of well known financial services brands including Halifax, Yorkshire Building Society, Bank of Ireland and Friends Life.
I set up Clifton Mortgages because I felt that financial services was too siloed and too transactional and customers deserved better.
I believe in providing a tailored, professional service to all of my customers. I do this by taking a thorough and holistic view, of not only your present needs but also of your long term, broader requirements and circumstances.
I will use all of my experience and contacts to give you the best possible advice and the best possible service, both now and in the years to come.
As well as being a fully qualified mortgage and equity release adviser, I am a also a law graduate and will ensure that my broad skills and experience are used to consider all aspects of your personal circumstances and the market when advising you.

Jonny Quigley

Sharon Fry
Administrator
I am from South Bristol where I have lived all my life.
I have worked in financial services and the world of mortgages primarily leading customer service teams for nearly 35 years. 32 of those years working with Bank of Ireland.
I am very customer focussed and always want to see the best outcome for the customer whilst protecting their interests and that of the company. I have undertaken and passed the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice to ensure my knowledge was adequate to manage both my team and the customer’s requirements. I always try to be open-minded and as positive as I can be.
I do enjoy holidays and like lots of little breaks away with my husband and family, particularly by the coast – the seaside is my happy place!
